Welcome to Ireland 29er, the new web site for the Irish 29er Class Association.
As some of you may know, we are currently in the process of putting together an Irish Class Association for this very exciting boat. Over the past year we have seen a dramatic rise in interest in the class and we are now entering the 2018 season with 12 boats on the Island of Ireland. Over the next couple of weeks/months we will be asking for help to fill vacant positions on the committee as well as asking for feedback on the constitution (currently being drafted) and how we run things in general.
To help get sailors started, we have created a ‘Wanted’ section where you can buy and sell boats, advertise your services as a potential crew/helm if you don’t have a boat, or advertise for a crew/helm for your own boat.
In terms of events for 2018, there are already two on the table and we are hoping for two more before the end of the summer.
